Click here to download a print-friendly map<\/a><\/p>\n WordCamp Providence will be held at the\u00a0University of Rhode Island’s Feinstein Providence Campus<\/a>\u00a0(80 Washington Street, Providence, RI 02903) located in the historic Shepard Building in the heart of downtown Providence, between Washington and Westminster Streets.<\/p>\n Parking<\/strong><\/p>\n There is a parking lot across the street from Feinstein Center\u00a0at\u00a051 Washington St. (the Biltmore Garage) and an open lot next door to Feinstein at\u00a0122 Mathewson St. On both Friday and Saturday both parking options will offer $10 Early Bird parking to those who arrive before 9 a.m. and leave before 6 p.m.<\/p>\n Other options are:<\/p>\n For the open lot\u00a04 hours of parking is $14 and anything between\u00a04 hours to 24 hours is $20.<\/p>\n For the garage 4\u00a0hours is $15, 5 hours is $18, and 5 to 24 hours is $20.<\/p>\n In addition there are other lots, garages, and meters in the city. \u00a0PLEASE NOTE:<\/p>\n Hotels within walking distance of WordCamp Providence Driving Directions to WordCamp Providence (URI Campus)<\/strong><\/p>\n Driving North on I-95:<\/strong>\u00a0Take Exit 22A, proceed to light and turn right onto Francis Street. Take another right onto West Exchange Street to the Rhode Island Convention Center garage.<\/p>\n Driving South on I-95:<\/strong>\u00a0Take Exit 22A, proceed forward from light onto Memorial Drive and take first right onto Exchange Street. Take another right onto Exchange Terrace, follow Exchange Terrace onto West Exchange Street to the Rhode Island Convention Center garage.<\/p>\n Driving from Route 10:<\/strong>\u00a0Take the Downtown exit, then follow the directions listed above.<\/p>\n Driving from Route 6:<\/strong>\u00a0Take the Dean Street exit, bear left off exit ramp, and take immediate first right onto West Exchange Street to the Rhode Island Convention Center garage.<\/p>\n Coming from T.F. Green Airport For information and schedules:<\/p>\n RIPTA busses:<\/strong>\u00a0You can take a bus to downtown Providence Kennedy plaza or take a bus to Washington\/Matthewson Street in Providence.<\/p>\n Car rental and Taxi information:<\/strong> MBTA commuter train:<\/strong>\u00a0This train arrives in downtown Providence at the Amtrak station.<\/p>\n Amtrak:<\/strong><\/p>\n Taking the ferry from Long Island<\/strong> From mid Long Island:<\/strong>\u00a0There is a ferry operating from Port Jefferson, NY which comes into Bridgeport, CT<\/p>\n Walking from Public Transit<\/strong><\/p>\n From Kennedy Plaza Bus Station:<\/strong>\u00a0Walk toward City Hall and take the road that goes to the right of City Hall, Washington St. Continue on Washington St. to #80 Washington St. It will be on the left.<\/p>\n From Amtrack\/MBTA Providence train station:<\/strong>\u00a0Walk down the hill on Exchange St. past the tall blue and yellow and white buildings and continue across the river. Go one more block to City Hall Park. Cut across City Hall Park past the large fountain toward City Hall and follow the directions from Kennedy Plaza above.<\/p>\n Clock outside the venue.
