Since 2004, the majority of my career has been based solely on remote work environments. For nearly a decade I was a freelancer with clients located throughout North America. For a brief period I took on a position at a small corporate gig in Rhode Island, but then I became a full-time Designer and Front-end developer at Parka (BruteProtect) and now Automattic, both distributed companies.
