It looked good-natured, she thought: still it had VERY long claws and a great many teeth, so she felt that it ought to be treated with respect.<\/p>\n<p>Are you thinking, what?! Well, I just wanted to see if you were really reading this. \ud83d\ude42 \u00a0In all seriousness, here goes&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>I am a former teacher turned WordPress Assembler who owns her own company, <a title=\"ella j designs\" href=\"http:\/\/ellajdesigns.com\" target=\"_blank\">ella j designs<\/a>. Building a small business using WordPress has been a very rewarding (and occasionally exasperating white screen of death type of) experience. With creative training from Hofstra University &amp; MassArt, she found herself working in administration at CSAIL at MIT for years. While she loved <em>where<\/em> she was working, she did not love <em>what<\/em> she was doing. In 2010, Rachel left MIT to open her own photography business, <a href=\"http:\/\/racportraits.com\/\">rac portraits<\/a>, specializing in children &amp; family portraiture. Recently, Rachel has added another business, <a href=\"http:\/\/blogforphotogs.com\/\">the Photographer&#8217;s Blogger<\/a>, a blogging service for imaging professionals working on WordPress platforms. She has a Master&#8217;s Degree in Media Studies (New and Traditional Media) from Rhode Island College and a B.A. in Mathematics from Mount Holyoke College. I fell in love with it after a class in high school and never looked back.
